Bradley & Riley PC Welcomes New Shareholder and Opens Chicago Office

May 22, 2017: Bradley & Riley PC is pleased to announce that Todd C. Jacobs has become a Shareholder and that the Firm has opened a Chicago office. 

Mr. Jacobs is resident in the Firm's Chicago and Cedar Rapids offices and is a member of our Commercial Litigation practice group.  He was formerly the managing partner of Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP's Chicago office and of Chicago litigation boutique Grippo & Elden LLC. Mr. Jacobs represents clients nationwide in all manner and variety of complex business disputes, including class actions, securities and shareholder derivative actions, commercial contracts, insurance coverage and intellectual property matters.

Mr. Jacobs received his bachelor's degree with highest distinction from the University of Iowa and his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. He grew up in Cedar Rapids and graduated from Washington High School. 

Mr. Jacobs has received numerous awards. He is rated AV® Preeminent by Martindale – Hubbell in Insurance, Litigation and Commercial Law and is also recognized in these areas by Chambers and Best Lawyers in America. Todd has been a member of the Trial Bar of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois for more than 20 years and was recently named by Chicago Lawyer Magazine as one of the Leading Civil Defense Lawyers in Illinois.
